Erin Stadler, COO, Co-founder

Erin Stadler is Chief Operating Officer and a co-founder of Boomtown Accelerators, where she leads business strategy and oversees client services.

Erin builds teams and platforms that solve real problems for clients and lead to real impact on businesses, startups, and industries. Erin has invested in and advised more than 200 startups across multiple industries and technologies. Erin founded Design Culture, a consultancy where she advised companies of all sizes from startups to Fortune 500 firms on how to improve the quality of their products, culture, and innovation. Her work covered various industries, from software security, consumer products, travel, fintech and mobile applications.

She has designed and led multiple partnerships with companies like Colorado Permanente Medical Group, CableLabs, and COPIC, which collaborated with Boomtown to invest in and advise 30 startups to make an impact on patient safety in healthcare. Erin also has advised such companies as Crate & Barrel, CDW, Consumer Reports, Workiva, RightNow Technologies to improve their innovation and customer-driven development practices as well as team culture, business approaches, and customer product experience.

Erin is regularly invited to speak and contribute at universities, events and organizations, including the American Express Open Forum (“Using Emotions to Connect to Your Customers”), Denver Startup Week (“Entrepreneurship & Creativity”, “Too Much Venture Capital”, “Design Thinking for Mental Health” and “How Small Iterations are Killing Your Innovation”), Project Management Institute, Agile Alliance, GoCode Colorado, Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder, University of Denver Daniels College of Business, Olin College of Engineering and most recently Inside Outside Innovation Podcast (“Evolution of Accelerators and Corporate Partnerships”).

Erin also has served on the Leeds School Women’s Council and the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board. She is a founder and organizer of the Agile Coaching Denver Group and the TechGarden Conference in Boulder for Women in Tech and Leadership. Erin is a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder coach and is one of the first coaches to be certified on the organization’s groundbreaking Entrepreneurial Builder Profile. She is also trained as a CRR Global Organization Relationship and Systems Coach. Erin also serves on the advisory board for The Case for Her, a philanthropic investment portfolio addressing the key women’s health issues of menstruation and female sexual health.

Erin studied Computer Science and Media Arts at Wellesley College. She completed her Masters of Engineering in Engineering Management at CU Boulder while leading an internal agile transformation inside InfoPrint Technologies (IBM, now Ricoh).

Erin enjoys improving in and sometimes competing in ballroom dancing. She lives with her family in Boulder, Colo.
